The Evaluation Process is part of MBIE’s Te Whānau Manaaki suite of learning for staff who procure or manage social services.

Te Whānau Manaaki explores cultural competency and procurement practices that support more effective social services partnering.

The Evaluation Process course has two introductory online modules:

  • Tiakitanga– Towards Better Evaluation explores the role of the procurement professional in managing the evaluation of tenders. 
  • Ārahitanga – Facilitating the Evaluation Process examines the skills needed to facilitate the tender evaluation process more effectively

The course continues with a facilitated wānanga (workshop). The wānanga can be delivered face-to-face or remotely, depending on your needs. It is recommended that face-to-face delivery is selected when possible.

  Who is it for:  This course is aimed at anyone involved in managing the evaluation process for a government department.

   Duration:  Self-paced online modules followed by half-day wānanga.
